For more than 35 years, Chestnut Woodworking & Antique Flooring Co. has specialized in antique reclaimed wood and custom craftsmanship from our woodshop in West Cornwall, Connecticut.
We are flooring originators—not bulk suppliers. Our antique flooring, barn siding and hand-hewn beams are reclaimed from barns throughout the United States and Canada, many of which are more than 100 years old. Every board is individually selected for its quality, history and distinctive character.
Wide-plank flooring is our specialty. We work with antique chestnut, oak, pumpkin pine, heart pine, hemlock and other reclaimed woods, as well as new wide-plank flooring for clients seeking a beautiful and more affordable alternative.
Our flooring is custom-milled in our own facility and can be shaped and finished to complement your home or business. From natural finishes and softly pickled tones to our distinctive pub-style flooring, every project is thoughtfully tailored to the space.
